Capable for many multiple hours of continued use with its huge 6.5amp hour 12 volt battery. Battery powered and tested for up to 12 hours of constant load on a regular size trailer on a single charge. Testing Electric Trailer Brakes (continuous load applied at 16amps) for a total of 9 minutes before requiring a charge. Fully portable unit. Maximum 20 Amp rated capacity. Monitors the loads for each light so as to check for consistencies among lighting circuits.

Battery Life

Regular Light Testing – On a full charge this unit is capable for many multiple hours of continued use with its huge 6.5amp hour 12 volt battery. Tested on regular size trailer all lights on at 0.5 amps up to 8 hours of constant use before requiring a charge.
Testing Single Axle Electric Trailer Brakes (continuous load applied at 8amps) for a total of 18 minutes before requiring a full charge.
Testing Twin Axle Electric Trailer Brakes (continuous load applied at 16amps) for a total of 9 minutes before requiring a full charge.
Fully Portable Unit. Keeping the unit fully charged is highly recommended and is highly recommended after electric brake testing is applied.

External Power Source

An external 12 volt supply can be applied via the positive and negative terminals on side of unit.
Alternatively the unit can also supply a 12 volt source to external loads via the positive and negative terminals on side of unit.

Circuit breaker tripping times

Can hold a load of 17Amps for 5 minutes
Can hold a load of 20Amps for 40 seconds
Can hold a load of 22Amps for 10 seconds
Any Short Circuit causes instant trip
